Charles V Pollack MD

Based near Philadelphia, Charles V. Pollack, MD, has been a research and clinical trial consultant with multiple pharmaceutical companies since 2000. His responsibilities include medically monitoring clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing trial sites, and developing protocols.

Since 2019, Dr. Pollack has balanced his consulting role with his work as a clinician-scientist and adjunct faculty member at the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Department of Emergency Medicine. He was the first physician to receive the American College of Emergency Physicians’ highest research and teaching awards.

Dr. Pollack graduated magna cum laude from Emory University as a Phi Beta Kappa honor society student with degrees in history and chemistry. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University as an Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society scholar. He completed his medical training at the University of Mississippi and the United States Naval Hospital, including time as the chief resident of emergency medicine.

He is a member of several professional groups, including the American Academy of Emergency Physicians and the European Society of Cardiology.
